About Carol Cole

Carol Cole opened Smooth Transitions of the Blue Ridge in 2007 in order to bring the much-needed services of senior move management to the Roanoke Valley. The objective of a senior move manager is to remove the barriers related to the relocation process for seniors and others; essentially forming the missing links between the client, the moving company and the new home. The process of moving can be overwhelming to someone who must plan for a smaller space and release treasures of a lifetime. The services offered facilitate the physical and emotional aspects of this process for that person with compassion and integrity.
She earned the designation of CRTS (Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, (“CRTS”) through MoveSeniors™, and trained with Barbara Morris, founder and president of Smooth Transitions®, two of the largest, most reputable firms in the industry. We are proud to be a full member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers, (“NASMM”). We are the only firm in southwest Virginia with these designations. We are also insured with two million dollars of liability through The Travelers Insurance Company
